Today’s Encouragement is John 10:27-30 ESV My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. [28] I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. [29] My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. [30] I and the Father are one.”
No one –
Do you hear that my friends? No One- can snatch you or me from Jesus’ Hand, which is the same as the Father’s Hand!
At times, we must confess, Isaiah 53:6a ESV “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one-to his own way;”. We wander, we doubt, we question, we sin, we fear… all this is our going ‘astray’, leaving the path of Faith and Trust. Yet my friends, reread today’s verse… No one can snatch us! We’re un-snatchable!
Not only this!!! Read the rest of Isaiah’s proclamation… even though we wander, we stray from faith… this doesn’t change the truth of who we are, or Whose we are! Because “the LORD has laid on him [Jesus] the iniquity of us all.”(Isaiah 53:6b)
Father God, help us to know that – You hold us in Your Hand – Jesus holds us in His nail-scarred Hand; and nothing can change this Truth!
