Today’s Encouragement is 1 John 3:1a NLT See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!
How very much –
My friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, we are deeply, even immeasurably, loved by our Father!
Just consider this sampling of blessings He has Already! granted us…
We are His sons and daughters
Made Righteous by the Blood of Jesus
Filled with the Holy Spirit
Clothed with Christ
Protected- No weapon formed against us will prevail
More than Conquerors
Have a spirit of power, love and self-control
Have the Mind of Christ
Are the righteousness of God.
Can do all things through Christ who gives us Strength…
And there is even more!
Friends don’t fall prey to the idea that “There is some truth in the Bible, but you can’t believe everything in it.” Instead, take God at His Word! Choose to accept, to believe all of it, all of what God says, and set aside your opinions, what your think, and what others say is true. Jesus is the Truth! And God’s word contains all of the Truth about you and me as His children.
Whether we feel it or not, whether we understand it or not, whether the great academic minds, philosophers, and theologians of this fallen world believe it or not… accept His Word as Your own Truth!
Just consider… how immeasurable is the Love the Father has for you… and in addition to all this… He gave His Son to bring us into His Family.
Father God, such Great, Wonderful, and Amazing Love is just too much for our human minds to conceive. Please help us to accept Your amazing Love even though we understand it so little.
