Today’s Encouragement is Romans 8:28 NIV And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
In all things-
This is a great verse to memorize. It is a constant source of encouragement to me. When bad things happen, I remember this. When good things come out of bad circumstances, I remember this. When I don’t understand how anything good could possibly come out of this situation, I remember this.
God sees, thinks, acts differently than you and I do, He knows the beginning and ending and how things will happen. He’s in charge; He is Sovereign.
And for you and I my friends, His dearly loved children, we who love Him, and are called by Him to be His own… He moves all things, He causes all things, He arranges for all things to work for our good! He is That Good… and His Love for us is That Deep, that True!
Help us Lord, to hide Your word in our hearts! To strengthen our faith by memorizing Your Truths! To remember that You are in absolute control, and You love us. To trust in Your plans, Your purposes, and Your timing. “When I cannot see it, God, I still believe it… You are working all things for our good!” (from this song)
