Call him Jesus

Today’s Encouragement is Matthew 1:21 NLT And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

Name him Jesus –

What do you call Him?

Or a term of Affection-

Perhaps something recognizing His Power –

Almighty God

Mighty God

Creator

Lord

King of Kings

Is it possible that the way we address Him has an effect on our relationship with Him? Or at least is an indication of the type of relationship we have with Him?

This verse connects the Name of Jesus, the Name that is above every other name (Phil 2:9) with Salvation! His name means “God saves”.

My friends we are wise to respect, revere and honor His Name.  The only name by which – we are saved(Acts 4:12)!
