Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 113:5-9 NLT Who can be compared with the LORD our God, who is enthroned on high? [6] He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth. [7] He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. [8] He sets them among princes, even the princes of his own people! [9] He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD!
Who can be compared –
Who or what compares to God? The almighty Creator of Life, who cares for His own creation so deeply that He gave Jesus, His Son, to restore us to a right relationship with Himself?
He blesses those in need.
Compare Him to the other things which some consider to be ‘gods’- Mother Nature, a self-achieved higher state of consciousness, a ‘prophet’ who wrote a book about what he thinks is the way we should live, ancestor worship, bowing before idols, kissing icons, and a myriad of other ways people try to connect with their concepts of god…
Yet we are privileged to know Him! The Truth, God who IS Love, Creator, Almighty, Omnipotent, and much, much more… He has too many other amazing, unlimited attributes to list here!
As you worship Him with this song, consider His power, His greatness, His mercy, kindness, and His love… just a few of the unlimited aspects of the Wonder of Our God!
There truly is no one like You Father! We will choose to worship You and You alone!
