Today’s Encouragement is Hebrews 10:21-22 NLT And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, [22] let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
Fully trusting Him –
Can you envision this? Going ‘right into the Presence of God’? Without Fear? Without Shame? Without any consciousness of our sinful lives? Just with sincere hearts totally filled with Trust, Faith, and Confidence in Jesus!
Only Jesus can make the way, give us the strength to enter the very presence of our Father God, Creator, Almighty, The Most Holy God of all!
Only because we belong to Christ, because He has done the perfect cleansing of our lives, which we could never do, preparing us for this moment, this experience, this life-transforming privilege… entering the Presence of Almighty God… without fear, shame, or remorse… but as dearly loved children coming to our Father. We are perfectly clean by the blood of Christ, so clean that we are welcomed in the presence of God Himself.
And this is not:
– someday,
– not when we pass from this life,
– not a nice thought that ‘one day maybe if I’m good enough…’
This is our opportunity Now!
We can enter the Presence of Our Father at any time! Because we are perfectly cleansed already, now, completely, and eternally! We cannot add to the work, the sacrifice of Christ, nor can we detract from it! It is Finished already, by Jesus… not by us!
Thank You Father for the privilege of coming into Your presence, fully clean and loved. Help us to come often, and just spend time in Your presence.
