Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 107:43 NLT Those who are wise will take all this to heart; they will see in our history the faithful love of the LORD.
See in our history-
We all generally acknowledge that perspective is a good thing. The younger folks get pretty upset by minor setbacks which don’t affect the older folks nearly as much… the difference is not age as much as it is – perspective.
The older folks have the benefit of more years and more experiences of both the seemingly good, and the seemingly bad types. And have come to realize that often the difference becomes less distinct with time.
Is it possible that… just as the seniors among us have greater perspective of this life than the young; that those who consider history, beyond just personal experience, also gain an even broader, and clearer perspective as well?
This seems to be the thought behind today’s scripture. Those who are wise… will consider these truths and will see – in our history – the Faithful Love of God.
This Psalm 107 describes Gods interaction with and merciful Love for His people in various glimpses of their history. And we can clearly see how God has been Faithful… throughout time… to His people.
And He never changes!
Father, we offer our sincere thanks for Your Faithfulness and Love for Your own, throughout all time. Thank You for choosing us, adopting us, cleansing us by the blood of Jesus, and bringing us to You!
You have been Good
