Today’s Encouragement is Philippians 2:13 NLT For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
Working in you –
It’s all God’s doing! He has called you and is guiding, creating, and Working… In You!
Because He has already acted – to choose you, to adopt you, to claim you, to transform you, and to Love you… it is all His Work! And it is His Work… within You and me!
Read it again… God is working in you!
He even is the Source of our desire to do what pleases Him! Plus, He is the Source of our strength and power to do what pleases Him! Every good and perfect gift (James 1:17) my friends, comes from Him, including the desire to honor Him, to Love Him!
It’s all Him!
Father, help us to recognize that You are The source of everything, including our love for You, our desire to honor and worship You. It is… it’s always been, and it will always be… You Lord! And You alone!
