Today’s Encouragement is 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NLT I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. [4] He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.
He was raised –
These are essential truths (most important) of our faith. Christ died. He died for our sins. He was buried. And He was raised. All foretold- just as the scriptures said.
This Easter season we focus on remembering and celebrating the resurrection of Christ! The greatest event in History! The source of our Hope- v19.
The resurrection of Christ is our assurance of eternal life and of God’s power over death; it is the indication of Christ’s deity, the symbol of His immeasurable love for us, a clear sign that He will return one day, and so much more! This one event, 2000 years ago, in a tiny nation, lit a raging fire which still blazes today in the hearts of those who believe in Him.
Father, please fill us with a fresh awe and wonder at the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus the Christ, our Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and Friend.
