Lead me

Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 25:5 NLT “Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.”

Lead me –

David asks God to lead him, by the Truth, and teach him. He is recognizing, acknowledging that God alone is the One who guides, teaches us truth and who Saves!  He alone is our source of Hope!

This psalm begins in v1 “O LORD, I give my life to you.” Such clear dedication and devotion to God… a wonderful way to begin a prayer. Total surrender; no conditions. Just – Surrender.

Next, David asks God to lead him. Friends, we need God! We need Him to lead us through the day, the night, at all times, through workdays and rest times, through happy times and sorrows, through success or failures, always!

Today’s song offers a wonderful way to pray these truths, to offer ourselves totally to Him, to ask for His guidance, to surrender to His will and His ways. To learn from Him and live within His protection, His defense. There is no better life my friends!
