Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 57:1 NLT Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by.
I will hide-
We are overwhelmingly victorious, as Romans 8:37 explains. And at times, we face our battles, the giants in our lives head on; we are courageous through the strength He gives us (Phil 4:13). And still at other times, we need a place to hide; we need God’s mercy and His divine protection.
We are not, on our own accord, invincible warriors all the time. We are all, at some times in need of rest, in need of protection, in need of a hiding place! Remember that, “For everything there is a season.”(Ecc 3:1), and at times, we just need to rest, even to hide, in His Presence.
And my friends, He is just as willing to be our hiding place, as He is willing to be our courage and strength for the battle. Because – Philippians 4:19 NLT “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” He will supply all our needs!
Father God, we thank You and praise You that You always provide all our needs, whether it is strengthening or safety in hiding. You are unlimited in every way Father. Help us to wisely turn to you for our every need.
