Today’s Encouragement is Romans 8:35 NLT Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
Can anything ever separate us-
I invite you to ask yourself – “What is it that threatens to pull me away from God’s love?” What thoughts, sins, temptations, problems, worries, fears, doubts, disease, disappointments, disabilities, discouragements, questions, memories, relationships… what is it that most threatens to erode, decay, or slip in between you and Jesus?
Now whatever that is for you, (and it may be different things from time to time or a recurring issue) grab it(figuratively), and set that thing, whatever you perceive it to be, on a table (as if an altar) before you, look at it carefully, and then recognize… “This Issue, this Beast, will never separate me from the Love of Jesus! Never! I am victorious over this thing and everything like it!”
This passage confidently assures us… that Nothing can ever be successful in separating us from the Love of Christ! Nothing!
We can rest in this truth, that God Himself has called us to be His, adopted, chosen, selected each of us, before we were conceived… as His! And Nothing can separate us from His Love! We are eternally His!
Thank You Father for this assurance, this promise, this Truth… that we are always Yours, and always within, covered by, immersed, surrounded… by the Love of Christ!
