Today’s Encouragement is Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (a wonderful verse to memorize!)
For the good –
Read it slowly please, phrase by phrase…
And we know – This is what we are confident of! This is Truth we rely upon! We can know and believe this deep in our hearts.
In all things – in every circumstance and situation, no matter how desperate or hopeless,
God works – It’s His doing, not ours! He is in control!
For the good – to our ultimate betterment, His wisest outcome for our benefit.
Of those who Love Him, called according to His purpose – That’s US, we love Him because He first loved us, (1 John 4:19) We love God and our neighbor, not perfectly – but sincerely.
My Friends, in every situation, every trial, every blessing, every challenge… even in THIS – God is working for YOUR GOOD! What a good God we have!
As this beautiful song says “When I cannot see it, God, I still believe it. You are working all things for my good!”
Father God, we thank and praise You for this amazing promise! That we can have Your peace and even joy, knowing that You are using all things together for the good of Your children! All praise and thanks to You Lord!
