Today’s Encouragement is 2 Corinthians 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
We are ambassadors
We each have our own sphere of influence. Most of aren’t called to change the world, BUT there still is a group of people over which we each have some measure of influence… one person or many, we are Christ’s ambassador to them. We can be a good, effective and honorable ambassador, by sharing God’s love with them, (if necessary, use words) OR we can be a poor ambassador, ashamed of the gospel, reflecting badly upon our God. We get to choose.
Recognize this my friends, we are, already, His ambassadors, whether we do that job well or poorly, we cannot escape that we represent Him to this world! We represent Him well when we simply Love others as He loves us!
Lord God, help us to be good Ambassadors, representing You and Your love to the world around us, to the people You’ve placed in our sphere of influence. Equip us, and speak Your Love through us, we ask in Jesus’ Name.
