Today’s Encouragement Matthew 16:15-16 NLT Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” [16] Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Who do you say –
My friends, each person must decide who Jesus is… what they each ‘say’ about Him, who each says Jesus is…
Many acknowledge Him as a great teacher or prophet, and some of us like Peter, as “Messiah, the Son of the Living God!”
The many names of Jesus are a great blessing to me, He is so wonderful, so great, that our language doesn’t have (none does!) the vocabulary to express Who He Is!
But from His word, we Know… that He Is:
Lord, Good Shepherd, Savior, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Deliverer, Protector, Sustainer, Healer, Bread of Life, The Way, The Door, the Truth, The Living Water, The Word, The Son, Beloved Son, Holy One of Israel, Alpha and Omega, Immanuel, and much, much more… infinitely! And He more than this!
Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that we are unable to describe you. For you are unlimited by terminology, you are all this and infinitely more!
