Today’s Encouragement is Isaiah 38:20 ESV “The LORD will save me, and we will play my music on stringed instruments all the days of our lives, at the house of the LORD.”
All the days of our lives –
One of the greatest joys of my life is playing guitar and singing Gods praises. With or without others present… He is always present, and He always enjoys my praise and worship (though it might not sound so great to others…my Father enjoys it!)
This scripture is the last line of King Hezekiah’s prayer of gratitude after he was healed from a life-threatening condition. He gratefully praised God and then promised to praise Him… all the days of his life.
We do that too – don’t we? We experience God’s grace and are then are filled with gratitude and promise Him our faithfulness…. Only to soon fail to keep that promise…
Friends, His Grace continues even when we are unfaithful. 2 Timothy 2:13 “If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.” And we can return to Him, to our promised faithfulness, at any time, by His Grace, and still strive to do as we have promised and be faithful. He has always ready to accept us!
Thank You Father that You keep no record of the wrongs we commit, no matter how many times we fail, Your perfect Love and Grace are still there for us, You are Faithful!
