Today’s Encouragement is John 1:4-5 ESV “In him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
The light of men –
Jesus is Life, and He is the Light. He is the source of everything v3, and of Light. His light still shines in the darkness my friend.
In the darkness of ignorance, of sin, of hopelessness, of depression, of illness, of poverty, of fear, of loneliness… whatever darkness we face, whatever circumstances surround and threaten… His Light will completely dispel… more than just bring the ability to see, His Light illuminates every shadow, every darkened crevice, every sin-filled infection, His Light purifies.
No darkness can remain in His Glorious Light.
Thank You Lord Jesus, for being everything to us! You are Brilliant Light, and so much more! Illuminate the darkness within us Lord, cleanse us with Your Perfect Light!
