Today’s Encouragement is Luke 18:19 NLT “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good.”
Only God –
God defines goodness. Good could be defined as “whatever is worthy of approval by God Himself.”
What is good in your life? Family, Career, Finances? All can be sources of good, hope and strength at times… and all can be sources of equally great sorrow and pain at times. (For everything there is a season… Ecc. 3:1) These things will all fail.
Recognize my friends, that there exists only One source of Good. “Only God is truly Good.”
James 1:17 NLT Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
Father God help us to recognize, and to live in full view of Your Goodness, Holiness, Perfectness. You are our true Source of all Life… every good gift we have… is from You alone.
