Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 119:105 NLT “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”
Your Word is –
Psalm 119 beautifully praises the word of God, His truths, laws, precepts, commandments; every form of His message to us is praised and exalted in 176 verses. In one form or another His truths are mentioned in all but a handful of these verses.
Why?
Why is it, my friends, that God’s words are worthy of praise? Is it possible that it is His word, His truth, that grants us life? His Word, in every form, guides us and shows us the Way!
In Genesis, He Spoke… and creation came to exist. In John’s gospel, we meet Jesus as the Word of God, eternally existing…
Father help us to grasp the immeasurable power of Your Word, Jesus Himself, and the biblical record of what You have spoken to mankind. Help us to respect Your Word, in its every form.
