Today’s Encouragement is Ezekiel 37:1-3 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. [2] And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. [3] And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord GOD, you know.”
0 Lord God You know-
In this vision God asked Ezekiel if the dry bones covering the valley could live. Strange question don’t you think? Yet notice the prophet’s response. He didn’t reply as any logical person would, he didn’t laugh, he didn’t say, ‘Of course not!’ He didn’t say, ‘Come on Lord look at them!’. Rather, he recognized that God was revealing Truth to him, so he gave a considered reply… In essence, ‘Lord, You know if these dry bones can live… You alone know the answer to the question You’ve posed!’ A humble response to the Almighty God.
Friends we often face situations, circumstances, conditions in this life which are as hopeless as the dry skulls Ezekiel saw.
God knows- He knows whether our situation will be restored or not. He decides.
In this vision the dry bones did live! Yet God decides… and nothing is impossible… for Him.
Pray for the impossible situation you face, surrender the outcome to Him, trust Him, and know He can bring the ‘dry bones’ of your situation to life.
He alone knows. We don’t decide, He does. Trust His decision.
