Today’s Encouragement is Jeremiah 29:11 NLT “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Plans for good –
This verse never fails to uplift my heart. Only God’s word can do that for me. Imagine, God has good plans for us! As a loving Father has plans, hopes, and dreams for his deeply loved children… in a much more perfect and powerful way… God the Father has good plans for each of us! Impossible? So is knowing the number of hairs on each of our heads! I didn’t make this up… it’s what God caused to be written in His book to us!
Think for a moment about what God’s good plans, plans to give you hope and a future, might be like.
Would His plans be based on how much money you have? Or Fame? Or comfort? Or would God’s plans be for more important, eternity focused things… perhaps like, Peace, Joy, Grace, Love, Mercy, Wisdom? What do you think His Good Plans for you might entail?
Selah – pause and consider that…
Once you have some ideas about what God’s good plans might be for you… Now, consider this… 1 Corinthians 2:9b “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” His plans for you are even greater than what you’ve imagined!
That’s how wonderful His plans for us truly are… wonderful beyond our imagining…
Father thank You for your Love, for Your good plans for us!
